8th Generation Honda Accord Gets Better In All Areas
SOICHIRO Honda would have been extremely proud of this latest Accord. Why? Because it moves the bar not just a step up by a few steps up in every area. This is the 8th generation Accord and it is a product that started life as humble little family sedan in the 1970's with a 68-horsepower 1.6-liter engine. It was a product that allowed Honda to compete directly with Toyota who had the very popular Corona sedan. As the Corona evolved to the Camry so did the Accord and it today competes with not just the Camry but also many other products like the Mazda6, Sonata NF, Cefiro and also Optima. However with every new version, Honda has improved the Accord and left most of the competition looking at various ways to improve and catch up with their own products. Today the Accord stands not only in the same segment as its Japanese and Korean counterparts but also against some European brands.
