I am a big fan of small compact cars. I find it really funny when I see drivers of big, large vehicles trying to parallel park, maneuver in traffic and go round a mall car park with much difficultly. Sadly it is mostly women! Many are single with no excess baggage and there are others who have 3 or 4 big vehicles in the family driveway and still insist on another large car when travelling alone or with a friend. If you get them to talk to you on why a large car they will start with, saferlah, bigger betterlah, can carry my shoppinglah, the lorry driver on the road can see me and so on. My reply will start like this, many big cars lack safety features, many big cars involved in accidents have fatalities and if the lorry driver can¡¯t see you in a small car then he can¡¯t see you at all. These days there are many premium small cars entering our market offering a multitude of airbag and safety features, flexible interiors that allow you large cargo space by flipping down some seats and with a powerful good handling chassis.
