On the 18th of last month a convoy of some 20 Porsches of various years and types supported by the Porsche Club Malaysia met for breakfast at the Porsche Centre in Glenmarie. After a breakfast they were given a quick briefing for the club drive to sunny Penang. This drive was also to attend the official opening and launch of the all-new Porsche Centre in Juru Autocity. The convoy consisted of 20 or more Porsche owners and their partners with members of the media joining in the drive. The convoy had a first hand preview of the new Porsche Centre upon arrival in Juru Auto-City for a quick late lunch and a quick look a round the center which is a 3S center. Later that evening, at the ParkRoyal Hotel in Batu Feringhi, the celebration continued as members of the convoy and invited guests enjoyed a special beachside open-air dinner with the attendance of Porsche Asia Pacific and Auto Eurokars management.
