Lotus Car Club: Takes the hard liking for koh samui
A 4 YEAR itch for a long drive spurred 2 Lotus owners to explore Thailand seeking the ideal destination for a drive. They explored Krabi first ……. then they struck gold with Koh Samui which led to the 6 day "Hard for Samui 2008" drive being born On the day of the drive, it was a glorious sight for anyone who drove up to the lobby of the Proton Centre of Excellence (COE) from its dark and empty car park at 6 am. The sight of the Lotus Elises in all its glorious bright colours just brightened up the morning. Participants and sponsors were bustling around chit chatting but the star of the show were the Elises parked in 2 neat rows ready to go.
