THE 8th of November 2008 marked a historic milestone for the Lancer GT Club ("LGTC") as Lancers from the whole of Peninsula Malaysia convoyed to Tiara Beach Resort in Port Dickson for the club's 1st Annual Gathering and Official Launch. This event marked the largest ever gathering of the latest 9th generation Lancer in Malaysia with 80 cars from as far north as Kedah, as far east as Kuala Terengganu and as far south as Singapore. In this rarity, all the cars were arranged in an arrow like formation lead by a Lancer Evolution X for a group photo shoot.
