It was a day to cheer for many at the recent Marlboro Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix. Arriving from Montegi in Japan, fans and followers alike had waited with anticipation as the challenge for the Championship in the 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP was still open.
Valentino Rossi, "The Doctor" could have sealed the Championship in Montegi, only to have faltered after colliding with Marco Melandri. This was good news for Malaysians, as the Championship had to be settled on Malaysian soil.
