Renault wants to take advantage of the increased demand in EVs across Europe and this is why a more potent version of the Zoe is on its way. Despite is disappointing acceptance in Malaysia, the Zoe is an all rounder electric car with decent range and good features.
It will carry the name Zoe R110 and is set to arrive at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show next month. It will put out 107hp, or 16hp more than the current model.
This isn’t the RS version of the Zoe that we were expecting, which could debut over the next two years, according to a previous report, but it may cater to those looking for more power.
It’s unclear yet whether its batteries will be improved to offer more range over the NEDC-estimated 402km (250 miles) of the updated Zoe Z.E. 40, though.
The French automaker is believed to offer the new R110 in two trim levels, Dynamique Nav and Signature Nav which means the standard equipment will include 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and a hands-free keycard, among others.
